great shot! compelling framing -- though i would've liked to see just a bit more of the top and bottom for reference. have you received any training?? you're a natural. seriously.

Get out of here mate, are you being serious?? If so, thanks heaps!! But I'm trying to improve so feel free to heap on the criticism, um particularly of the constructive kind.

some things are a matter of personal taste, like my preference for just a bit more on the top and bottom for contrast purposes (ie. to be able to compare what the painting/graffiti looks like in the top and bottom frames). on the other hand, i find the horizonal framing spot on. generally, i think the framing is excellent.

i also think that the exposure is spot on. it looks like an under cover shot and it doesn't look like you've used flash -- a good thing -- but you've still managed to cpature most of the colour. i'm sure most trained eyes will agree with me on this one.

definitely keep it up. can't remember if your intention was to be a photo-journalist but definitely don't neglect your pictorial contributions which definitely add a different dimension to your reporting. (perhaps a little biased as a photographer-wannabe here.)
