Maybe they are the real article, I hope so but suspect not.

Vaughn spoke after the match as though it was a hard fought win, that they managed through thought and focus, not the cliff hanger 'could have gone either way' lucky 'get out of jail' turn of event it was.

We shall see....

Good to see your accident leaves you no worse for wear.

Thanks Sam. By the way please tell me the APS 8 is still fighting strong?!?

Yeah, to be honest England did their darndest to lose with some very poor bowling. Vaughan's a pretty constipated captain too (or is it just that he's English?). If only they had a decent spinner! I reckon even if they win the series Australia is still the superior team. You can't knock out a champion team in one series, cf India almost defeating Australia in Australia and then losing to them in India.

APS 8 are still going although it must be said there have been a degredation in attendance.

I have been unable to play the last couple of games, I think Yathin has his leg in a cast and couldn't play last night.

So we are hobbling on. I think there is one more game to go.

So a bit of a pity that we didn't push on harder but there was great fun had all round I think.

By the way if I was back in Canberra later this year would you be interested in playing field cricket? Am thinking of joining the team that plays at Kingston Oval.
