Accept no substitutes

Yet again, Australia has defeated England in an Ashes test. This time, it was a pretty close contest. England lost by just 239 runs. Never underestimate a champion team.

Thanks for dropping by my blog.

Great win for Australia and well deserved. The problem with the current England team is that it promises much but fails to deliver at the right moment.

Salaam Rezwan, thanks for returning the compliment! Yeah I think England's a hard working, cohesive team. But their batting in particularly lacks the class of Australia. Warne and McGrath are bowling as good as ever. Why England didn't drop Bell and include Thorpe is beyond me. Geraint Jones is one of the worst keepers I have ever seen. My prediction - Australia 5-0.

Boston is the heaven
Is Boston the Bostan that the Koran talks about? It should be freed from infidel subjugation.

Wow so many people who don't have names. Sounds like you've been reading the Satanic Verses recently.

An interesting article there from the Express India website Anonymous No 3. Madrassas are a real, scary problem. But I must say I didn't like the author's exclusivist argument, essentially distinguishing Muslim fanatics from others. For eg, his complaint that the media only focuses on the RSS and Thackery's mob. That's pretty disengenous. Even in India, Muslim fanatacism is one of the flavours of the month.

He also asks that Moderate Muslims do more, but doesn't exactly spell out what we can do, other than what we are trying to do. Which is publicly and privately condemn them. There's plenty of work to do. Everyone's entitled to their views, so is that journalist, but I wonder how helpful his comments are.
